Management of persistent pain

Did you know that 1 in 5 people currently live with chronic pain? In fact, nearly 8 million Canadians are affected by this condition. Persistent pain is associated with changes in the central nervous system. Specific interventions included in our program can correct some of these impairments.

Who is this service for?

This service is for people living with chronic pain, including:

  • Back pain/lower back pain;
  • Neck pain/cervical pain;
  • Osteoarthritis;
  • Any other form of persistent pain (> 3 months).

Service description

Individualized care with the option to participate in a group exercise program consisting of 8 sessions over a 12-week period.

A personalized approach tailored to your abilities and goals, grounded in the latest scientific evidence, including the approaches developed by Butler, Moseley, and O’Sullivan.

Our team

The service is led by physiotherapists who hold graduate-level degrees in pain management and have several years of experience supporting individuals living with chronic pain.
