From Drummondville, Karen received her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Sherbrooke in 2013. She joined the Atlas Physio team in August 2013. Her interest in vestibular disorders and musculoskeletal injuries related to sports quickly oriented her towards the Physio Atlas team. Karen expressed a desire to participate in the advancement of the profession through involvement in physiotherapy research by her association with Guillaume Léonard, pht, PhD, as a research assistant. She also continues her research project related to the effects of electromagnetic fields on the pain that has been the subject of a presentation in 2013 at the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) conference.
In addition, she received a recognition award at the Symposium of the School of Rehabilitation in April 2013.
